There Comes a Point in Time, When...

For the next couple of weeks we have a pair of Guest Artists who have come in to help my class design a structure for my school. And Okay, I understand that sometimes the artists come in have certain rules and regulations but when you come into an art class... People have sketchbooks, and usually will be using pencils, maybe pens.

Not using a pencil, okay, I can understand as well... But when somebody takes my sketchbook away from me is when I get really antsy. To explain, I was showing a friend a design for a dress that I created the other night (as I am an aspiring Fashion designer). No pencil in sight, artists and class doing nothing, I had my sketchbook not only asked to be put away, but when I didnt do it immediately (the friend had it!) the artist took it from me, took my pencil case as well, and placed them on the floor!!

*Angry twitch*

Nobody puts my art on the floor.
Ever.
T.T

That made me lividly, boiling-over angry.
Especially because my sketchbook is such a heavy part of my life.
I use it every day, all the time, from doodles to watercolour painting, to plain pencil sketches and ideas for fashion designs or paintings.

Not letting me use a pencil, babying me, and only letting me use a Crayola marker makes me agitated.
But tossing my artwork book and expensive felt-tip markers to the floor, really makes me mad.

Respect.
Please learn it.

Livid,
The NA.
