This Kind of Crap....
I ordered art from somebody a long, long time ago.
Now, they haven't been able to do the art but recently asked me if I still was interested. I said yes, of course, and he replied that he'd be glad to continue, and thanked me for my business.
And see this is on an Online Forum, so it's art that is to be scanned and emailed to me but...
I am usually a very patient person whilst waiting for art I have ordered.
He cleared his waiting list of people who were in line for his art. I am superbly, boiling over with anger and pissed off.
I have had the payment waiting in my Mule account for half a year now. The currency has been sitting there rotting a hole in my pocket. He said he's starting off fresh, even though he just asked me not a week ago if I was still interested.
I dont know what to say to him.
This is just stupid!!
I have been waiting forever.
I waited a year for a spot on the list, then waited another six months to have him clear me from his list?! I am SO angry, this is NOT fair!!! D<
Like, what the hell?
Really agitated,
The Night Angel.

Jaymyccah ([Blog #9] 03-30-'11)
Jaymyccah is a very talented artist- and Photographer- who I recently discovered on DeviantART.com. He is very inspiring to me, both personally and artistically. Jay's art is something that I can relate to not with my eyes but with my heart. The sadness, the joy, the passion shown in these photos makes it hard not to be able to say; "I know what that's like." Today, I will be reviewing a few of Jay's pieces, tell you what I love about them and then let you have a taste of the image. I hope you enjoy!
Click to Englarge!!
This first piece is called "Vanilla Twilight". The image is of Jay, and two of his friends. The woman, and I beleive the adorable little rabbit. In the image, The pair are listening to the song 'Vanilla Twilight' by Owl City. Personally, this song and image tie in together so perfectly it is almost magical. The use of soft, clean lines makes the piece look simple and very elegant, letting the figures fall into place and be the focus of attention. This is- as I actually just discovered- of Jay and his girlfriend! The two look very close, and as I just discovered their favourite song is 'Vanilla Twilight'.
My favourite part of this whole piece is of the clean, simplistic lines that really help to pull it all together. Also, the rabbit. If it was not sitting there... Well, too me the image just wouldn't look right, almost off balance.
Click to Englarge!
Our next image is called "Smile For Me Love". This piece blew me away when I first saw the art. Everything was just beautiful. From the eyes, to the hair, to the clothing and patterns... Everything was stunning. As I look more, I see not only Jay and his girlfriend by me and my boyfriend. I am always am taking photographs, and usually of my love, James.
This image I can really relate to, even taking an image with what looks to me like a Pentax film camera. The funny thing is that I am blonde, and he has brown hair like in the image. This piece really does inspire me to get off my butt and go take some photographs. :)

This image makes me think of last summer in 2010. I was at the cottage for two-week intervals, and though I love it there I have learned that I can only take three days with my sister before going insane. So, three days.... And add eleven days more. By the middle of week two I was highly irritable, and stayed inside listening to music and crying, wanting to go home to see my friends or the guy I liked (now my boyfriend :D) if even for a day.
As this piece is titled, 'Stop The Rain', I felt the same way. I wanted to be able to go outside and have fun and play. But not only was I feeling like crud but also my eyes were horrendously sensitive to sunlight- and still are. I wanted to rain to go and clouds to stay!
This is my favourite piece by Jay. Though it is simplistic, the image of the man sobbing holds so much powerful emotion. "You also almost never see a man cry, as it would ruin their manly image" as a friend told me once. But with this image you know the man is hurt. You know he is upset and looks almost like his heart was ripped out of him. Well, that's what his face says to me.
I am in love with jaymyccah's artwork, and I hope now you are too.

Assassin Versus The World. (Plexiglas Etching)
Hello my favourite readers, you! In the past few weeks, I and my CyberARTs class have been working on art pieces, based upon the Romantic time period. We were asked to create a Dry-Point print or create a collage that showed this art style. Romanticism showed medieval characteristics, high contrast, dramatic scenes, untamed natures, mythology, heroic figures, light and shadow and many other interesting points.
I created a dry-point print. What we had to do was take a Plexiglas sheet, compass point, and etch like crazy. My idea was to have a single man facing an army of men coming to overtake his country. This idea was born after a long, long thinking process.
The main idea is an Assassin quietly waiting for the Nights Templar to get close enough for him to start battle. The Nights Templar are an ancient group, and assassins just as old. My original idea for this piece was a modern Assassin and a single modern Templar to be doing battle. However, this would not be seen as heroic, or medieval or any of the qualities I want to see in my Assassin.
The hardest part of this entire piece was the tiny, little, Templar heads!! There were a horrendous amount of tiny little circles I had to do, each measuring about 1mm across or smaller. There were a total of, approximately 115 - 120 little Templar heads.
I was very satisfied- after I figured out the printing press- with the finished product of this Etching. After I etched, I filled in the grooves (intaglio!) with water-soluble inks. Red for the Knights Templar flags, and a casual, calm black for the Assassin.
I loved doing this project. It was great to get into another unfamiliar media, and work with it and the print press. Favourite over all thing about this project...? I don't know, really. It came out exactly as I wanted it to, and though while I am sure that if I had enough time I would have created more prints... Four only made ever in the entire world.... That's pretty cool, you know? :)
Below is the total finished project!

Oreo Cookie Win.
You know how "traditionally" with an Oreo cookie you twist it, lick it and dunk it?
I have never been able to do this.
Just did it with a white vanilla Oreo.
I feel like win.
Just had to share this accomplishment with you XD

Procrastination o.o
GRAH!
I have so much to DO.
I have a project for Art to finish, a slide show on Mati Karmin. And the most important piece- the one to hand in with the most information on it- is not done yet! Agh DX
Started. Not done.
I took a small break after working since I got home today. Went to eat dinner at 7:20, came back and just looked at the computer now. It's past 10:30!!
Damn you, Rise Against, with your addicting new album XDD <3
But yeah!
I have a lot of drafts in my folder right now. I should finish those and show you guys. There is a Video on Trial and a spot on an amazing artist I found on DeviantART.com...
Off to work again!

Videos On Trial
OH who am I kidding?! I love music, I can't bash any music videos, especially the ones I listen to the most! But... *puffs out chest* I must!!
Today I will attack two music videos, and hopefully I can spit out something negative or else I might fail this blog post!!
"OAH!" Alexander Rybak. (Click to See!)
Alexander Rybak's video for his beautiful song 'OAH' is a little... Creepy. It starts off quite cutely actually, Alexander tells a beautiful girl that he "loves her". Then goes on to say "you're way too young for me, but I don't mind." Sounds a little like a pedophile o.o This creepiness starts at around one minute into the video.
But, knowing Alexander Rybak's music and videos so well this was over all hard to watch. He acts like a complete, obsessed stalker. Disrupts Moa's education in class that ends up in her being kicked out, disrupts a date with another man by making him leave from embaressment, stalks her into the kitchen of an eatery, then hunts her down on the plane to her vacation! Moa, my dear, if you go to see his other videos he's really quite sweet and cute!
Song: 8/10
Video; Needs some work, but suits the lyrics
The next song on deck is;
'Toeto' by Megurine Luka (Click to View)

This video is full of cute. Capitol C-U-T-E. The lyrics are adorable; a wee bit saddening but really cute. The story if of a little girl called Toeto, who lives inside the mind of Luka Megurine. Luka wishes to tell her new friends how much she loves them, but Toeto is too shy, and says no to Luka. Luka understands her second personality's shyness and accepts the fact that, one day, Toeto will open up.
This video is just adorable. The images that are in the video show little Toeto, a child-version of Luka, who is struggling to open up from her shy self. Images showing her crying, being scared, and even brave give an amount of character development as we see Toeto begin to, maybe, be a little less shy.
Song; 10/10
Video; 8/10 (If it was an animated work still in the art style used it would be a 10/10)
Thank you reading my Video on Trial =3

Talent Show!
My school is about to be hosting a Talent Show, which I am thinking of entering. Talent wise I can draw, and do art very well but it takes me a long time to do it.. Also, I can sing. But I dont really think I'm good. That and I am way too shy to preform in front of a single person let alone an Auditorium of people.
I'm scared!!
If I were to enter, I would probably sing or recite a poem. I wrote a poem for a friend's wedding which I might read, or I would sing.
Now, with me singing I can't get those up high songs that are loud and hold very womanly notes. I might end up singing 'Make it Stop' by Rise Against or Lacrimosa from Black Butler, which I have been practicing for years.
Meh, who knows, i might just be a spectator taking photos for the Yearbook XD
Wondering,

Mind. Blown. (Assassin's creed: Brotherhood)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has been the best video game I have ever had the joy to play. It was witty, it was interesting, the controls were amazing. It was the best of the series to date. After finishing the game, my head imploded with questions. "What happens now", was the biggest one of them all! Ubisoft Montreal left the game with such a cliffhanger I almost cried!
There was so much good about the game I cannot even think where to begin! There were a few interesting glitches I found however, but none as one which I discovered from Assassin's Creed 2, where I took a tour around Venice upon the head of a Citizen. Thank you random coding problems for allowing me that small amount of glory.
Back to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, I finished the game with I believe 47% Synchronization with Ezio. This, before you comment and flame me for my horrendous score, was because I wanted to finish so darn badly and see what happened to my favourite Assassin!! I finished almost every mission with a 50% Final Mark because I ended up breaking the rules accidentally. "Do Not Swim" was a restriction on one. I leapt off a bridge by accident, literally five paces from the memory start. I swore, flipped out, and decided to continue anyway. Because of this, I plan on going back and repeating levels until I can get 100% Sync.
Upon hearing rumours, I have heard that Ubisoft Montreal plans on announcing another Creed title this coming Summer, around late August. Hopefully the game can be released sometime shortly after if work has already begun on the game, but all I wish is to continue with Ezio's story... I'm not done with him yet!
However if the next announced title happens to be Assassin's Creed 3, then I shant complain. Nobody wants their favorite game to be overworked to death, so lets hope the developers dont plan on stretching the plot line out.
I dont want to spoil any of it... But wow.... Oh my gosh, did
Ezio Auditore da Firenze rock my world.
Off to rant about Subject 16,

March Toronto Anime Convention (MTAC -Part 1)
This weekend held a two-day Anime Convention for fans all around the Downtown Toronto Area to come and buy merchandise, find old convention buddies, stock up on Pocky and Ramune (biscuit sticks and Japanese soda), and dress up as their favourite anime character. As well, this Saturday held a signing by some of the voice actors from the hit anime series Bakugan. I got to meet Drago and had the voice actor of Preyus deafen me as he screamed loudly to a girl's camera; "It's over 9000!!!"
But the real reason for post one of two is that I am looking desperately for any picture of me and my boyfriend!!
I am dressed as Amu Hinamori, and he as Ikuto Tsukiyomi;
Yes, it was a couple cosplay! If you could email me any photos of these cosplays, at little_miss_yaoi65@yahoo.ca , that would be great! I'll weed out the ones that are not me or him, but I thank you for the time to read this and send in any pictures you have.
Or comment with a link to an online album!! :D

Florence Cathedral ([Blog #7] 03-07-'11)
The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore is the cathedral church of Florence, Italy. It's structure began construction in 1296, in the Gothic-esque style that designer Arnolfo di Cambio had dreamt up. After being completed successfully with secure structural improvements in 1436, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi, the Basilica is a breath taking piece of art.
The Basilica is one of Italy's largest churches, and until the modern era, the dome was the largest in the world. It remains the largest brick dome ever constructed. The cathedral is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Florence, whose archbishop is currently Giuseppe Betori.
Inside the Basilica is amazing, filled with the most beautiful tile murals and has many paintings inside of it. But what really is beautiful lies on the outside walls. The exterior of the Basilica is faced with polychrome (multiple colour) marble panels in many shades of green and pink bordered by white trim. Accompanying this is an elaborate 19th century 'Gothic Revival facade' by Emilio De Fabris.
The reason why I wanted to share the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore with you today is that in class we are going to soon be starting on making chairs. And because the Basilica is such an amazing piece of art, and architecture, I thought I would start with this that will be part of what I wish to use for my chair. Artistic inspiration!!
Fun fact, did you know that if you climb Giotto's bell tower, connected to the cathedral, you'll be able to see all of Florence?
However, I do not recommend doing this.
Wondering where my orange went,
The Night Angel.
Paint, Pastel, and Paper Hearts
Hello everybody! So, if you're read my blog post directly under this one, you can see I was a little grumpy about due dates. Well, naturally, after posting that I miss more than one due date. This was late, a sketchbook assignment was missed, and I have a Media Log which- thank heck- is due tomorrow.
So starts the post of amazing bloggity-ness.
For one of out most recent assignments in class we were asked to take a cropping of a larger pastel drawing on day one of the semester. Of course not realising what we were doing with these croppings we all chose only what we liked that went along with a composition. Taking a diagonal composition, I chose the following cropping(of course, it's been enhanced to show you colour and areas of interest.);
With this cropping we were to complete three works of art, a large pastel piece, a small painting and a large painting. I loved working with pastel, because it brought me out of my elements, however I still much enjoyed working with paints.
When working with my large painting, I was given a large brush and instructed to use only that one brush for the entire painting. A challenge, I liked it!! But oh the PAIN it was to mix up so much paint for the blues and the pinks. and the LAYERS for them!! Additional to water marks and bubbling, it was seriously difficult to get any great detail into the painting... but with a pink bold line, a blue bold line and white bubble, what could be hard?
Layering, my friends, is a pain in the butt.
Large Painting is ABOVE.
Going on to my small painting, I loved it. When I'm painting I try to go for tight, clean lines... but who am I kidding, when do I ever do clean lines? For our small painting we had the option of sticking with the original cropping or cropping the cropping. Staying with the original, I began to paint with a smaller brush. This time, I did not need as much paint as I had before, and found that the colours were a lot easier to blend together with the smaller brush. Details could be achieved!!
Details such as brush strokes, and I could erase all of the small daubles of blue paint I happened to drop on the pink section without having to mix a whole jar of pink all over!
Small Painting is ABOVE.
Though I enjoy both of my works, I think I could have done better. This gave me a great taste of actual work deadlines and how you have to work quickly and efficiently to get something done!
Now... I'm going to go kick my butt into gear and start on my Music Video assignment for Tech. 'Paper Heart' by Tyler Ward, featuring whoever I can get who can act!!
(And now you know why the title of my blog is as such.)
Actually, I'll eat an orange first...
Procrastinating gets me nowhere,
The Night Angel.

Due Dates
So a while ago we were assigned a Careers project for CyberARTS Tech.
Maybe four of fifteen people did it.
I don't know why, but when you're assigned something to do shouldn't you do it? A real job out in the world wont be "oh, you fail, try harder next time." You'd get FIRED. For not having it finished on the due date.
I had this project done and ready to present the day it was supposed to be presented and like... Come on XD
Love,
